Anissa Cornelius, LM CPM (2025), IBCLC (2024), is a Licensed Midwife, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and Childbirth Educator with a deep passion for supporting families through every stage of the perinatal journey. She has been nurturing families through pregnancy and parenthood since 2016 and believes that all birthing people deserve compassionate, evidence-based care rooted in options, support and respect.
Anissa is a 2025 graduate of the National College of Midwifery and is currently licensed by the California Medical Board. In 2024, she earned her credential as an IBCLC, expanding her ability to serve families with expert lactation support.
Currently, Anissa works as a Licensed Midwife at Tourmaline Birth & Wellness Collective and as an IBCLC with Via Lactea Wellness / Mamas and Milk, providing clinical care and holistic support for new and growing families.
Her calling to birth work began with her first pregnancy and has grown into a life’s work dedicated to nurturing others through birth and parenthood. She is happily married and the proud mother of four spirited children—two daughters and a set of twin boys. Anissa embraces the wild joy of parenthood and is passionate about modeling to her children what it means to follow one’s calling with courage and heart.
